Both ways the cars were old and not especially comfortable people carriers, not a saloon/sedan. The whole thing was extremely overpriced and when I complained and tried to cancel I was told I had to pay 90%, with no option to speak to a manager to discuss it. I will warn all my colleagues against using this service and will absolutely never use again myself."

There was also an unpleasant smell when we got on the bus and most of the seats were wet? There where no signs on the bus stating no drink on the bus. We had a full bottle of wine that we didn’t drink so we brought it back to have once we got home. He made us throw it out on the journey home. As it fell over on the floor, (lid was on tight!) nothing got spilt but as it was raining when we boarded the bus the floor got wet. When we threw the bottle out. (Littering!) he noticed the floor was wet, which wasn’t our problem! He said many words which I can’t name as they are very bad. So no I won’t be using you ever again. Being spoken to like a piece of shite is not good customer service and no I won’t be leaving a tip! Many thanks "

However he did get us to our destination five minurtes early so caused no inconvenience. The return journey was excellent from Shepshed to Loughborough. He aggressively told me I didn't reply to messages from your firm with flight details and you have to allow 30 minutes for passport control. I said that there was no passport control and I was flying from Ireland not India. As i had never met the driver I had no idea that he was Indian. "Bath experience. You mentioned in your offer/confirmation to take a 30 min. between arrival plane and arrival hall to meet the taxi driver. Arrival of plane was planned for 12.25 so i ordered the pick-up for 13.00. Plane arrived at 12.20 so I waited in the arrival hall untill 13.00 without seeing the taxi driver with a name plate/ Bergs as promised in the offer. After several walks outside the arrival between 12.20 /13.00 to see if the taxi was waiting I get a call in at 13.00 that he was waiting on the outside pick-up area, It was heavy raining that day and after moving to the pick-up area I met an unpolite man that he was already so long waiting seen the arrival time of the plane ( in very bath understanding english ), whereas I tryed to explain to him that the agreed pick-up time was 13.00 at he meet/greet point in the arrival hall with name plate ( of witch he was not aware). The transportcar was an old fashioned mini-bus instead of the agreed saloon car. I will not accept any more cost due to wating time of the driver than the 23 pound agreed seen all the bath exprerience is related not to me but to the driver and the fact that his car type was not in accordance as agreed by your coy. "

TaxiCode in fairness were great at resolving and refunding, but the driver at Blue Stone Cars of Loughborough who provided the actual journey was beyond bad. Slightly late for the airport run pick-up but otherwise OK, very late for pick-up to go home, very defensive and became aggressive and shouting - ultimately abandoning me with my wife in a wheelchair and autistic son and requiring us to use the on-site company at East Mids (who were great and horrified by Blue Stone). TaxiCode did fully refund and played fair, and I believe dealt with the situation well."

"We booked a meet-and greet at East-Midlands airport to a Loughborough hotel and back on the 6th of January. Our plane was 15 minutes delayed, but we didn't expect any problems as the flight number was attached to our booking. Unfortunately no one was waiting for us at arrival. After 10 minutes I phoned the company and they said 'the driver is on the way'. 20 minutes later I received a text from a different number: 'Have taxi arrived'. As we didn't understand if this is a question I phoned this number. A confused operator was asking ME if their taxi is there yet (??). Later he assured me that a driver must be already on the way. Normally we would have just taken an other company, but we paid online through our university system and didn't want complications with reimbursements. 10 minutes later I got the same question in text again, so I phoned the guy. He said they 'lost the driver', so he will come personally..in another 20 minutes. When he arrived, he asked us on phone to go over the departure gate (??). Briefly apologized and said he will refund the total cost of this ride. It never happened. (As we paid online in advance, we expected an online refund, but they refused to answer my emails). We were late from our conference. Never use this company..."

I had a reservation very early in the morning to get to the airport and I would have lost my flight if I hadn't taken precautionary measures and booked the taxi much in advance of my flight. The taxi was 20 minutes late. I was not notified about this at all. After the first ten minutes of waiting, when I called to find out whether the taxi was still coming I got talked to very rudely and was told, with an irritated tone, not to panic, my taxi will arrive in five more minutes. But it didn't. It took another ten minutes before it appeared, no explanation for the delay or apologies."

Driver got pick up time wrong, he thought it was 9:05 instead of 9:15, he first contacted me at 9:07 saying that he was waiting. I text him at 9:12 saying I was nearly finished, then at 9:17 couldn't get hold of the number, I assume he was on the phone to someone else. I tried 3 times all went to answerphone. Finally got hold of him at 9:20, when he rudely accused me of being 15 mins late (I was only 5 mins late and had warned him I might be) and that he would leave soon If I didn't hurry up. He couldn't find the place (which I'm not blaming on him as it is hard to find but I couldn't get hold of him on the phone to direct him). He never apologised for getting the wrong time and was unfriendly for the whole journey. As you can imagine I was pretty frightened by the notion that my driver would leave without me having got the pick up time wrong and me having prepaid for the taxi. I will not be using this company again if this driver is used for my journeys."

I had to ring round to find a car though and feel I should not have had to do that and it was bad that a phone call was not sent to assure us that a car was LATE but on it's way !!
